Biography

Dr. Shugdar received her Doctorate from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a concentration in developing a sustainable patient safety culture model/toolkit. She is certified in Professional Healthcare in Quality and has completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management Research at Bradford University School of Management. Moreover, she is a certified CBAHI leadership and quality surveyor and an Australian Council surveyor in healthcare standards.

Dr. Shugdar has 20 years of experience in healthcare, quality management and patient safety; was a leader of MRQP; has contributed to the development of CBAHI standards and survey processes; has direct involvement in setting surveyor training programs; and has worked to improve the CBAHI Surveyor Application System.
